Koenig AI Academy does not require an account to read any course or blog post. We do not ask for a name, email, or other identifier before you can access the content.

If you choose to subscribe to a newsletter, request a course-completion certificate, or contact our team, you are providing that information voluntarily and only for the purpose stated at the moment of collection.

We use a small number of first-party cookies and browser localStorage entries to remember your reading position, your last-visited course, and similar UX-only state. None of this information is sent to us; it stays on your device.

We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We collect aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics through a self-hosted Umami instance operated by Koenig Solutions. Umami records page views, referrers, and anonymous engagement events such as scroll depth and time-on-page milestones. It does not use third-party advertising cookies, does not receive your name or email, and does not link to ad networks.

Conversion events (for example, opening the course catalog or Nova tutor) are counted without storing message text or subscriber addresses. Analytics is disabled when the site is built without Umami configuration; the site continues to function normally either way.

Audio, slide decks, mind maps, flashcards, and infographics referenced from chapters are served from Cloudflare R2. Cloudflare may log standard request-level metadata (IP, user agent, timestamp) for abuse prevention. Embedded slide previews are loaded through Microsoft Office Online's viewer; their privacy notice applies to that interaction.

Because the site does not store personal information about you, there is generally nothing for us to retrieve, correct, or delete on request. If you have submitted a form (e.g. a newsletter signup), email hello@koenig-solutions.com and we will action your request within 30 days.

Career Compass is opt-in: nothing here applies unless you upload a CV at /career. When you do: your CV and the job posting are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis (Anthropic does not train on API data). Your CV is stored encrypted and auto-deleted after 30 days; the analysis report after 180 days. Report links are unguessable but shareable — anyone you give the link can view the report (it never contains your contact details). Your email, if you choose to leave it, is stored separately from the report and used only to send you the report link and course-ready notifications. You can delete your CV, report, and contact details instantly with the "Delete everything" button on your report, or by writing to academy@koenig-solutions.com.

We update this page when our practices change in a meaningful way. The "Effective" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
